Congratulations to the Strong 7 for their performance at Nationals!!!

A heartfelt congratulations goes out to the South Bay Elite 7th grade team for their AMAZING performance at the National Tournament!  With only 7 players, they were able to compete at the highest level and make it to the Elite Eight!  The performance of the girls is a testament to their hard work, dedication and mental toughness.  With only 2 subs on the bench the team was physically exhausted but found a way to push through every game.  Girls, we are so proud of your performance - You make us all proud!

Thank you to coaches Tracy and Talaya for their dedication to the development of this team.  Your passion and knowledge of the game shines through during every encounter with your team.  Thanks for building the foundation of a successful club basketball program.  Accept nothing less than excellence!

Thank you parents for your continued support and encouragement of your daughters, coaches and of our program.  You are teaching your children how to overcome obstacles and keep moving forward even when the odds are stacked against them.  Your girls have faced many 'character building' experiences throughout the season and they have come through brilliantly!

Thank you to Lorrie for all of your efforts around the coordination and fundraising for the trip to Nationals.  You make it easier for the coaches to do what they do best, COACH!

Finally, thank you to Julie for keeping us all informed about the teams progress through blog updates.  Isn't technology fantastic?!

We couldn't ask for a better start to our program.  Both the 5th and 7th grade teams qualified for Nationals but unfortunately the 5th graders weren't able to make the trip.  The future looks very bright for our young ballers - Put your game face on and let's keep moving forward...TOGETHER!
